Looking at 'hotel art' is easy and usually doesn't need a big explanation.

I paint because I like the process. Mixing colors, making decisions, changing my mind, covering things up, and choosing when to stop.

By the time it's finished, I've gotten what I need from it. So , now, it can be whatever you need it to be

You can find meaning in it or you can just think it looks good outside an elevator.

I probably assign more meaning to it than necessary. You do not have to.
